Yoga for Chronic Conditions offers a gentle restorative yoga practice, incorporates deep relaxation, gentle body movement, breath awareness and meditation. It is designed to help people who are experiencing long covid, mobility challenges and general fatigue.  Suitable for all body sizes and abilities .  The class is also suitable for anyone wanting a gentle and accessible yoga practice to release stress and tension.  This class will also be available to attend on Zoom on a regular basis or if you can’t make it in person to class for any reason.

Please find below some information about the class and registration requirements.

Venue: Murrumbeena Park Community Hub, 28 Gerald St – ground floor community room (right near the foyer area at the entrance)

Time: Mondays 6:00pm – 7:00pm (in person or online)

What to wear: Loose comfortable clothing (layers that can be easily taken off or on).  Note: Best not to eat too much before attending

What to bring: A yoga mat, blanket, cushion / pillow.  If you know that you will need extra support, please bring an extra blanket, cushion, etc.  Chairs are available to use and we strongly recommend them at any point in the class (especially for seated meditation) if you are uncomfortable on the floor.
